General - a comment field has been added to lithology and facies group files. This comment can be used to populate the comment field when adding lithology or facies entries.

DLIS Loading - a (usually innocuous) bug which caused the program to show a "repcode error" has been fixed. The repcode errors were in most cases not truly errors.

DLIS Loading - a problem with interlacing for FMI images has been corrected. This caused all previously loaded FMI images to have their buttons swapped. If this error is present, you may correct it by using the button swap option under View/Edit Data.

The problem would reduce the resolution of FMI images, but the image itself would be usable and picks made from it would be valid. In cases where an acceleration correction was done, users should make certain the most current version of fmvtool.v70 is being used.  I.e., no old versions of fmvtool.v70 remain in userdata or elsewhere in the system.

TS V7.344 - 21 August, 2014

TerraStation Version 7.344 20 August, 2014

Borehole Imaging - if the tool type of a Baker tool is changed, the program attempts to reload the appropriate accelerometer and magnetometer curves for QC plots.

Borehole Imaging - image selection lists now mark existing images with an asterisk.

Header and Title Box Editor - sonic waveform header items may now be configured within the Header and Title Box Editor.

DEXTR - a problem has been corrected with the "Fail Constraints" null being lost.

DLIS Loading - a crash condition has been resolved when sonic waveforms files cannot be properly created.

DLIS Loading - users may now create verification listings in batch mode. This permits an easy file inventory method for a folder containing multiple DLIS files.

Borehole Imaging - the polygon used to represent a pick plane in 3D displays can now be chosen from a right click menu when editing the pick configuration file. (tspcktyp.v70) Left clicking on the polygon cycles through the possible shapes.

TS V7.343 - 13 August, 2014

TerraStation Version 7.343 13 August, 2014

IMAGELog - Automatically rotate perforation symbol annotation in an Engineering Track if the string length exceeds six characters.

IMAGELog - hole shape track ellipses may now be displayed as an overlay option.

DLIS Export - the DLIS exporter has been modified to support export of files to Schlumberger's free borehole viewer, WellEye. This is largely a matter of curve mnemonics, and may not work for all images. If you want to do this and are having problems, please contact TERRASCIENCES so we can fix them

LIS and DLIS Export - a problem with the button order when exporting GeoXplorer images has been fixed.

Formation Viewer - users can now add linear features in a polyline sequence. That is, the second point of the feature can be used as the first point for the next feature. This lets users trace breakouts with multiple line segments.

IMAGELog - the structure profile track now draws the borehole path last so it will always be visible.

Map Loading - the loader has been improved to better ignore mismatches if a UWI is missing during merge mode.

IMAGELog - one can now output a simple curve status report from the interval graphs track.

TS V7.341 - 10 July, 2014

Sonic Waveform - a simple frequency dispersion correction (for semblance only) has been added. This uses a dispersion lookup table for the correction.

Borehole Imaging - a simple ex-centering correction for CMI images has been added. This assumes the upper tool arms are centered. They are used to define the ellipse.

Map Loading - has been improved to better preserve existing map limits when incoming data posts within them.

General - a units conversion for m/hr has been added. It is used by the image data loading for converting cable velocity.

TerraStation Version 7.339 - 11 June, 2014

Borehole Imaging - order and high and low frequency cutoff values can now be supplied by the user for the Butterworth filter used in the acceleration correction.

DLIS Export - a complete set of Dual OBMI channels is now written to an output DLIS file.

DLIS Export - the control panel has been modified so that it fits properly on smaller computer displays.

TS V7.338 - 4 June, 2014

TerraStation Version 7.338 - 04 June, 2014

General - some additional geochemistry curve categories and descriptions have been added.

Petrophysics - a problem with curve selection in the net pay module which was introduced in version 7.337 has been corrected.

Sonic Waveform - sonic waveform displays are now subsampled when displaying large intervals for performance reasons. This happens if the wave frequency is less than .5, or if more than 2400 depths are included per inch of depth display.

Sonic Waveform - a horizontal line has been added to improve accuracy when DT guide editing.

Sonic Waveform - an initial version of the C66 modulus computation for transverse isotropic within perpendicular borehole situations has been added.

Sonic Waveform - a preliminary version of the Butterworth filter for sonic wave form processing has been added.

Note: normally this is a two pass filter, first low then high, but if low pass cutoff is 0, no low pass filter will be done. If the high pass cutoff is 0, no high pass filter will be done.If using an alternate filter for anisotropy, the filter will be same general type as that defined on the Data Control tab. The three Butterworth parameters are order (exponent), high pass cutoff and low pass cutoff.
