The release notes give a brief description of any changes made. Green indicates improvements and new capabilities. Red indicates problem resolutions. Boldface entries are operational changes.

In order to download the software update you must be a registered user with Client status and be logged in.

Clarity - a polygon constraint option is available via right click on crossplot and stereonet graphs.

IMAGELog - zone names can be displayed in Interval Graph tracks when in Zone Fill mode.

Petrophysics - Histogram - a problem with getting the correct percentile table when drawing more than one histogram per screen has been addressed.

Petrophysics - Net Pay - a units problem in the Volumetrics option has been fixed.

Petrophysics - EQUUS - a units problem with output curves has been corrected. The units were not being set for the output curves if user had selected a unit.

Formation Viewer - the color bar end points in the track header when performing transforms are now labeled as 'Lower' and 'Higher' instead of Resistive and Conductive.

General - some new units have been included in the system.

Petrophysics - a problem where "phantom" curves might appear when using EQUUS to create deviation survey curves has been resolved.

IMAGELog - a map pick label offset button has been added for pick displays in IMAGELog and Correlation.

IMAGELog - RGB color values may now be used in strip log tracks.

IMAGELog - some enhancements have been added to improve color map usage when displaying color coded tracks for curves with a small set of values.

DEXTR - a new beta version "Image Picks" mode has been added. This option permits users to extract various pick statistics for multiple wells into a map Z variable.

Well Data Management - the map compression sequence has been reordered in an attempt to reduce unnecessary date changes for well files during the operation.

DLIS Export - odd characters in well names are more carefully removed when using them as output file names.

General - facies boundary management has been improved when creating pie charts to reduce segment overlap.

DLIS Loading - recognition of incoming company names has been improved.

Petrophysics - a problem with loss of units information when creating a curve in EQUUS has been resolved.

Curve Splicing - interpolation is now available for all curves when using the RUN ID method of splicing. A problem with range saving to the output curves has also been fixed for this method.

Petrophysics - Borehole Correction charts - the text size for chart footnotes has been improved.

Clarity - the F5 function is now active in Clarity to refresh the curve list data.

Borehole Imaging - the pick export in psuedo LAS format now tries to ensure that the file extension is set to LAS.

IMAGELog - The General tab for Curve Track configuration now offers a checkbox for turning individual template curves on and off. This permits the user to hide some curves in a given template if desired.

LAS Image Loading - some new imaging tools are now recognised by the LAS image loader.

LAS Data Loading - progress monitor has been added to indicate loading progress when importing LAS images.

Petrophysics - a problem with multi well crossplots when displaying a regression line and using a Z curve has been resolved.

General - Preferences - IMAGELog - IMAGELog Headers - a separate control when creating plot files for track headers and footers has been added. The settings are "Header and Footer", "Header at Top Only", and "Same as Screen Display". This permits the user to maintain a preferred screen display without having to change the settings when a plot file is desired.

Clarity - some limited crossplot overlay displays have been added when crossplotting the 'porosity' logs - Sonic/Density/Neutron.

Petrophysics - a problem with y axis scaling in normalized multi-well plots has been fixed.

Data Loading - support has been added for loading multi valued curve arrays from Pandas data outputs.

Petrophysics - Crossplots - the color frequency key better supports 3D frequency plot displays.

Petrophysics - Curve Splicing - the tool ID string can be optionally displayed when splicing curves for more detailed curve identification.

Petrophysics - Histograms - a mouse interrogation function is provided for stacked or split multi-well histograms.

Data Loading - support has been included for another NGI mnemonic set.

Petrophysics - Ternary Diagram - Added a symbol size control widget to the ternary diagram setup panel.

Petrophysics - Crossplot - fixed problem with overlays not drawing on crossplots.

Petrophysics - Histogram - fixed issue with multi well histogram display if user changes collection to only have a single well.

Petrophysics - Bar Graph - Left clicking on any bar will give the well name and statistics of that bar. Especially useful when displaying more than one bar graph at a time were the well names are left off do to lack of screen space.

Borehole Imaging - Save processed Image - Circumferential images can now be saved on any orientation basis.

Dip Analysis - Statistical Report. Added Breakout and Linear Feature  mean, R and Standard Deviation computations. Report headings changed to reflect this.

Borehole Imaging - a problem where magnetic declination was not applied to breakout azimuth values during computations has been fixed.

General - symbols may now now be defined with vectors only, permitting more precise custom symbols.

General - new symbols for marlstone, welded tuff, styolitic, vugs, and bioturbation are now available.

General - a new unit has been added so that an RGB color code value may be stored for reuse.

Data Loading - ASCII well file formats can now be saved and restored in the batch ASCII file loader.

Data Loading - when loading well logs from ASCII files, the system now defaults to the previous format used.

Data Loading - a "select existing" option has been added for batch loading ASCII well logs. This directs all incoming file data to the selected well.

Data Export - when exporting core data, the top and bottom depths are now converted to the depths referenced in the core depth curve, if one exists.

Petrophysics - Crossplot - a new 3D frequency cross plot has been added. This is similar to a 3D multi row histogram.

DLIS Loading - the program corrects for a rare depth units configuration problem in DLIS files from some vendors.

General - a performance issue involving curve header files has been improved.

Map Loading - empty lines in incoming ASCII data files are now suppressed.

Map Loading - well names can now be entered by hand into the load table when a well column is not present in the incoming data file.

General - the "tab" marker in tab delimited files has been changed from [TAB] to [...] to make it easier to see the data columns.

Well Data Management - coordinate entry by hand has been improved to better handle projected vs. lat/long coordinate data entry.

Borehole Imaging - data processing is improved for the circumstance where both equalization and dead button correction are being used.

General - the system for symbol handling has been improved so that users can keep their own custom symbol set separate from TerraStation standard symbols. Please contact TERRASCIENCES if you would like to use this feature.

Breakout Displays - for non Schlumberger images, there was an error in the computation of the True Azimuth display setting. This would include magnetic declination incorrectly, and has been addressed. It did not impact the default display setting of BH North Azimuth.

General - a problem with handling full RGB custom color settings within TerraStation has been resolved.

Borehole Imaging - units conversions involving the bitsize for the image now work correctly.

IMAGELog - the Strip Log column type has been restored. It is found under the Lithology group of column types.

Data Loading - a units conversion in the multi-well ASCII loader has been fixed.

Borehole Imaging - pad/pad correlations for Triple Thrubit (12 arm) can now be used.

Borehole Imaging - the OPTV tool (Optical Televiewer) now defaults to storage in image file 19. The number of "button" readings can now vary with data input.

General - pattern for dolomitic limestone, calcareous dolomite and argillaceous dolomite have been added.

Petrophysics - text size control have been added to cross plot axis annotation.

General - a few well symbols have been modified slightly.

Well Data Management - coordinates are now shown in the current display basis for the project.

Petrophysics - a problem with FastFE temperature handling when the correction flag is off has been fixed.

IMAGELog Headers - a new option permits inclusion of an engineering symbol key. See the ENGSYM KEY command in IMAGELog Header Descriptions.

Borehole Imaging - orientation information is now included with the title of a QC caliper plot.

Borehole Imaging - QC Caliper Plot - You can now change the orientation basis of the plot. Use the Options menu on the caliper plot window to do so.

Borehole Imaging - Modified the directional information in the track header display slightly.  Added 90 and 270 to the numeric display.

Borehole Imaging - Borehole Visualizer - Fixed a potential crash condition with a well with no directional survey data computed.

Clarity - Further general improvements in graphing speed. Especially on large data sets.

Correlation - SPider Mode section display - The section definition map can now show pick names and/or depths along the borehole path. 

IMAGELog - Show Data track -  The option to create an entry that displays just a line between the start and stop depths has been added.

General - A potential issue with projects being locked when switch projects or creating a new project has been addressed.

Petrophysics - Fast FE - Added 3 vshale models to fastfe (Neutron, Neutron/Density and resistivity).

Petrophysics - Fast FE - Improved handling of parameter entry returning to correct calling window.

Petrophysics - Rw from SP.  Fixed possible crash condition when running this option in single depth mode.

Petrophysics - Crossplot - Added the Switch X and Y axes option to the right click menu.

Petrophysics - Crossplot - Clicking on Log Tags on the preferences control window will cause the logs to be displayed immeadiately rather than waiting until the Define a Polygon button is pressed.

TCL - added two commands for Inserting and modifying RUN and GLP file zone definitions (top, base, zone name). See INSERT ZONE and DEFINE ZONE commands in the help file.

Project Database - Well Data Management - Added KB, Location and Date columns. Allow certain columns in the table to be directly manually edited rather than having to go via the Well Properties panel.

Data Loading - Well Import - ASCII Table.  It is now possible to load a single file that contains multiple wells of curve data.

Data Loading - DLIS Reader - Improved handling of bad successor bit situation. 

Data Loading -  tlalias.v70 file - Added AZME and MRBE mnemonics for Tucker RBIT tool.

Borehole Imaging - a "long" and "short" color bar key has been added for Accoustic Travel Time images in equal size or dynamic mode.

Borehole Imaging - images in RGB (red, green, blue) can now be interpreted as BGR (blue, green red).

Clarity - efficiency for plots with many data points has been greatly improved.

Petrophysics - Kobra - a warning appears if the T2 distribution data is not in microseconds.

Data Loading - a problem with "auto completing" image buttons when loading images from LAS data has been resolved.

Data Loading - new "auto complete" definitions for LAS image loading may be added to wlimage.v70.

Data Loading - the DLIS data loader has been made more robust in the handling of certain file errors.

Data Export - the DLIS export function now supports the export of Triple Thrubit images.

Data Export - a crash condition in DLIS export introduced by the expansion of available calipers in version 7.451 has been fixed.

Borehole Imaging - additional support for Schlumberger's ThruBit tool, including storage for additional caliper information, has been added.

General - image and sonic waveform file listings in Well Properties are now marked by asterisks to indicate data present.

Petrophysics - Borehole Corrections - Reeves/Weatherford matrix conversions now permit users to specify the input basis.  Units handling has also been improved.

Clarity - crossplots in Clarity now display a progress bar when plotting data.

Plotting - a text size factor control has been added for CGM output. This provides a magnification factor for all CGM text in a given plot.

Plotting - new controls have been added to manipulate plotting margins.

Data Loading - support for new ThruBit and Baker LWD tools.has been added.

Data Loading - the Auxiliary Data Loader now supports the new recorded depth field in engineering data files.

Petrophysics - avoid using the background color when drawing cumulative curves while normalizing curves via histogram.

DEXTR - a simplified, single operation version, "EZ DEXTR", has been added to the tool pulldown. This option uses all wells on the map and does not offer zone modes. The original version of DEXTR is retained and now labeled "Advanced DEXTR".

Formation View - the image save toggle has been simplified to two positions: Data Values and Color Values. If the track is displaying a dynamic image, the saved "color values" result will be the same as the previous Dynamic Mode Image. For static image displays, color values is the old Fixed Range Static Image.
